It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Augustus Washington of Ladys Island, South Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Billy" Washington and Katie Haynes Washington of Lady's Island, SC.. He is survived by: his children, Constance Reams of New Orleans, LA, Sheldonia "Caprice" Simmers (Jeffrey) and Melvin Oakley of Henderson. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
