She was predeceased by: her husband David Bartell; and her parents, Douglas Thomson and Jessie Thompson Thomson. She is survived by: her children, Charles Bartell (Nancy) of Summerville, SC, Mike Bartell (Kristin) of Moncks Corner, SC, Doug Bartell (Susan) of Goose Creek, SC, Heather Kennedy (Jack) of Summerville, SC and Robin Reed (Daryl) of Centorton, AR; her grandchildren, Kayla Reed-Rushing of Centorton, AR, David Bartell, Jr. of Summerville, SC, Tanner Bartell of Round, Nathan Bartell of Goose Creek, SC and Tobin Bartell of Goose Creek, SC; her great grandchild Lena Rushing of Centorton, AR; and also, Zachary Gunning, Kayla Vetter and Isia Kennedy.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parks Funeral Home (130 W 1st N St, Summerville, SC 29483).
