It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melrose L. Cox of Ladson, South Carolina, who passed away on March 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester T Lane and Naomi Bishop Lane; her child Terry W. Cox (late Ann); her grandson Greg Satterfield Melissa; and her brothers, Lester T. Lane, Jr., Bobby Lane, Tommy Lane, Billy Lane and James Lane.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Cox, Sr.; her children, Curtis Cox, Jr. (Teresa), Debra Satterfield (Steve), Dale A. Cox (Lori) and Maureen Gabrielli; her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher Cox, Jason Gabrielli (Heather), Jeremy Satterfield (Amber), Angel Folk (Daniel), Kara Stewart, Lauren Cates (Nic) and Brent Gorman (Rachel); her aunt Thecla Dougherty; her cousins, Ola Ann Lyons (George), Micky Lane and Donnie Dougherty of Walterboro; and her siblings-in-law, Clyde C. Cox, Jr. of Alabama, Cecil Cox (Ina Mae) of Charleston and Charlotte Bryant of Easley.
