He is survived by: his children, Lawton Jay Cook Jr. of Ladson, SC, Thomas Wade Cook of Ladson, SC, Jason Brooks Cook of Cary, NC and Jill Cook Holstein of Summerville, SC; and his brother Terry Cook of Easley, SC. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
