He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Harold Grimes and Nevo Batman Grimes; and his son Andrew Grimes. He is survived by: his wife Mary Grimes; his son Paul Grimes; his grandchildren, Rory Grimes and Dorothy Grimes; and his siblings, Patricia Kliebert and Shirley Morris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Theresa the Little Flower Catholic Church (11001 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Dorchester Memory Gardens (11000 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485).
