It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lee Gilmore Sr. (Ladson, South Carolina), who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Amos" Gilmore and Margaret Elizabeth Brown Gilmore; and his brothers, Charles Gilmore and Thomas Gilmore. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Lynne Hooks (Glenn) of Summerville, SC, John "Lee" Gilmore Jr. (Samantha) and Gregory Gilmore (Kat) of Whitmire, SC; and his brother Charlie Gilmore (Rachel) of Myrtle Beach, SC.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
