He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryant Cooper and Ethel Cooper; his brother Dalford Cooper; and his niece Melissa Cooper. He is survived by: his brother Roy Cooper of Kentucky; his children, Jimmy B Cooper (Jenni) of Charleston, SC, Kelly Cox (Kevin) of Ridgeway, SC and Nicole Fischler of Summerville, SC.; his grandchildren, Tierra Fischler, Christopher Davis Destiny Fischler (Meghan), Kelsey Adcock (Austen), Jalin Fischler, Hannah Schroth (Eric), Brandon Fischler, Braxton Fischler, Jaycie Cooper and Jayden Cooper; and his nephew Jason Cooper.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to DAV.org (Disabled American Veterans) in his honor.

He was like no one I've ever met, he treasured his family speaking of them at length whenever he stopped by. And one thing for certain...., you just NEVER KNEW WHAT HE WAS GONNA SAY!!.
