He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son James Nathaniel Forrest Jr. (Sonya); his wife Rita Forrest; his children, Cheryl Forbes, Yolanda Waymer, Lakeisha Ward and Shaniqua Pinckney; and his siblings, Lois Fields, Georgette Ravenel, Stephen Forrest (Eleanor) and Johnette Forrest. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Suburban Funeral Home (2336 Meeting Street Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at 1827 Central Park Rd, Charleston, SC 29412.
