He is survived by: his wife Lana Norene Turner of Jackson; his children, James Darell Turner (Stacy) of Aiken and Melissa Mehl (Graham) of Laurel; his grandchildren, Dylan, Miranda and Grant; his sister Beth O'Rear (Bill) of Aiken; and his sister-in-law Sandra Turner. He is also survived by several nieces, great nieces, and great nephews.
