It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry L. Bennett of Ladson, South Carolina, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita C. Bennett; and his siblings, Mae Francis Bennett, Carlotta Bennett, Robert Simmons Jr., Charles Simmons, Rosetta Bennett Fludd, Arnold Simmons, Pearl Bennett and Juanita Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Bryan, Kevin H. Bennett, Darryl L. Bennett (Monique) and Jacquetta Woods; his grandchildren, Dexter Dean (Pam), Leon Bryan (Tasha), Nakia White (Ty), Jason Bryan, Keyron Bennett, Sherrell Bennett, Morgan Neville, Stephen Woods II (Carmen) and Tianna Woods; his siblings, Carl Simmons (Estelle), Marvin Bennett, Maxine Bennett and Sylvia Bennett Bunyon; and his caregiver Maybelle Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
