She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Smith Jr. and Marienia Jean Lock Smith; and her brother Marvin Smith. She is survived by: her children, Tina Smith (Dan), Tammy Childress and Michael Hodge (Crystal); her siblings, Joyce Buell, Diana Barrett, Joe Smith and Alvin Smith; her grandchildren, Adam Godbee, Shelby Godbee, Aaron Webster, Zoey Hodge, Roger Childress, Katie Childress and Jennifer Childress; and her great grandchild Ailani Solis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, both biological and adopted family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc. (3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy, Charleston, SC 29414). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at the Live Oak Memorial Gardens (3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414).
