He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence W. Sweat, Sr. and Reba Grooms Sweat; his brothers, L. W. Sweat Jr. (Diane) of Ladson and William Sweat (Phyllis) of Ladson; his former wife Yvonne Lee; and his son-in-law Terry Bailey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brandy Bailey of Ladson and Tammy Lloyd (Jeremy) of Summerville; his grandchildren, Darin Todd (Kayla), Alexis Bailey and Maddox Lloyd; and his sister-in-law Diane Sweat.
