He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Marie Murray Parkhurst. He is survived by: his father Glenn Oliver Parkhurst of Cape Canaveral, FL; his sons, Nathan Parkhurst of Newark, DE and Gavin Parkhurst of Summerville, SC; his brothers, Reed O. Parkhurst of North Charleston, SC, Joe Thomas Newell (Jessie) of Ladson, SC and Randy Joe Newell (Patrick) of Tampa, FL; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas, Jaxon, Luke, Evan Newell, Haley, Joslyn and Leilani Newell.
