He was predeceased by: his wives, Sybil Rhodus and Shelia Rhodus; his daughter Teresa Brainard; and his grandchildren, William Martin, II and Katie Pye.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Mayes of Ladson, Bobby E. Rhodus, Jr. (Sara) of Goose Creek and Brian Scott Rhodus (Colleen) of St. George; his sister Earline Hilstrom; and his grandchildren, Trae Roberts, III, Cayce Brainard, Jessica Pye, Elaina Mayes, Morgan Rhodus, Chase Rhodus, Ace Rhodus, Ryan Rhodus, Peyton Rhodus, Grace Rhodus and Brett Rhodus.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church.
