It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Elizabeth Hamilton of Ladson, South Carolina, born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd William Koehler and Betty Poole Koehler; her brothers, Alfred and Robert Koehler; and her sister-in-law Gettie Wilcox.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Amber Hamilton-Lipsey (Mark); her grandson Derek Lipsey; her sister-in-law Vicki Koehler; her stepgrandchildren, Amanda and Cameron Lipsey; her siblings-in-law, Dudley, Wayne Hamilton, Jerrie Edging, Twila Barbee and Ramie "Red" Wilkerson; and her adoptive parents, Jo Seigler, Horne, James D. Bartz and Sandi Hart Steele. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends.
