William Edward Carraway Sr. Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Edward Carraway Sr. of Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2021 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Carraway and Mamie Lee Whack Carraway; his wife Terry Robinson Carraway; his great grandchild Da Quan Brown; his brother Earnest Whack; his nephews, Kevin Lamont Carraway and Xavier Terrill Carraway; his grandparents, Henry Carraway, Lena Smith Carraway, Mack Reid and Annie Louise Whack Reid; his aunts, Elsie Pendergrass Reid and Ida L. Reid Burgess; and his uncle Wilson Burgess.

He is survived by: his children, Natasha Carraway of Charleston, SC, Tierra Carraway of Charleston, SC and William Carraway, Jr. of Charleston, SC; his siblings, Laurie Whack (Joan) of Salters, SC, Henry Carraway of Kingstree, SC, Joseph Carraway of Kingstree, SC, James Carraway (Kathy) of El Paso, TX, Dorothy Witherspoon of Sumter, SC and Henrietta Green (Kenneth) of Kingstree, SC; his grandchildren, NyBrasyah Robinson, Tylazia Robinson, Ka'den Drayton, Aaliyah Carraway, William Carraway III and Carson Smith; his sister-in-law Annette Whack of Kingstree, SC; his uncles, Andrew Reid of Thomasville, NC and John Reid (Rose) of Thomasville, NC; and his great-aunts, Elnora Robinson of Greeleyville, SC and Carrie Lee Whack of North Charleston, SC. He is also survived by ten nieces; twelve nephews; and a host of additional relatives and friends.
