It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Houston of Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Willie Houston; his wife Catherine Wilson Houston; and his siblings, Hattie H. Pressley, Ashley Houston, Joe D. Houston and Clarence Pressley.

He is survived by: his children, Leon Wilson (Mary) of East Hartford, CT, Joseph Wilson (Krystal) of Hartford, CT, Matthew Houston of Orlando, FL, Chronicles "Cornelius" Houston (Mary) of Kingstree, SC, Delores White of East Hartford, CT, Pearlie M. Houston of Kingstree, SC, Dr. Cora J. Houston of Upper Marlboro, MD, Ernestine H. McFadden of Hartford, CT and Lotora H. Henderson (Benjamin) of Kingstree, SC; and his sister Lorraine H. McClary (Richard) of Fort Washington, MD. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
