She was predeceased by: her parents, Nella Cribb Hobson and Jettie Crib; and her former husband Desmore D. Tisdale (D. D.). She is survived by: her great grandchild Luke McKnight; her children, Dena McKnight (Fredis), Jeffrey and Chuck Tisdale (Amary); her siblings, Corrie M. Hatcher of Savannah, GA, Sandy C. Eaddy of Florence, SC, Ann C. Hammond of Columbia, SC and Jed Cribb of Florence, SC; and her caregivers, Dana Williams, Nathene Brown and Victoria Scott. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Williamsburg Baptist Church, 8378 Hemingway Highway, Kingstree SC 29556.
