She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Isaac Worrell and Maria Chandler Burgess; her husband Herbert McGill Brown, Jr.; and her siblings, Martha Davis Worrell and Jefferson Davis Worrell.
She is survived by: her children, Herbert McGill Brown, III (Betsy), Faye Brown Mathis, Betty Brown Watts (David) and Kimberly Brown Easters (Aaron); her grandchildren, Herbert McGill Brown, IV, Whitney Lee Mathis, Dr. Caroline Watson Cauthorn, Burgess Reynolds Watson, Sidney Marie Easters and Avarie Grace Easters; her great grandchildren, Ava Marie Mathis, Timothy John Mathis, Betty Drake Cauthorn and Madison Reynolds Watson; her sister-in-law Betty Worrell Cain; and her caregivers, Brenda, Betty, Irva, Cora, Sandra, Cynthia, Alexis and Vangii. She is also survived by three nephews, one niece and several cousins.
