We bid farewell to Margie Giles (Kingstree, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 7, 2025 at the age of 75. Margie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lila Ann McClary Matthews and Edward Leroy Matthews; her spouse Charlie Giles; and her siblings, Genevieve (Bee), Edward (Butch) and Catherine (Cathy).
She is survived by: her daughter Ina Jenerette (Reginald) of Mount Holly, NC; her sister Glinda Tucker (Frank) of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Zor'Asia Jenerette of Mount Holly, NC, Reginald Jenerette Jr. of Mount Holly, NC and Renieca Jenerette of Leesville, LA; her aunts, Lilly Matthews of Salters, SC and Josey McClary (Ben) of Providence, RI.; her sisters-in-law, Hazel Giles of Lane, SC, Vivian Matthews of Salters, SC and Clara Porter of Kingstree, SC.; and her nieces and nephews, Donna Green (Greg), Audrey Golden (Northan), Helen Gary (Brian), Sheri Matthews, Mary Lynn Giles, Delicia Wingard (Tony), Adrian Giles, Lance Giles (Victoria), Corey Giles (Kendra) and Brandon Matthews (Tiliala).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dimery and Rogers Chapel - Kingstree (404 E Main St, Kingstree, SC 29556). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (352 Broomstraw Rd, Lane, SC 29564).
