She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelton Capers Eaddy and Iona Douglas Eaddy; her sister Mary Frances Barrineau; and her niece Nancy M. Barrineau. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Larue Steele; her nephew Harvey Barrineau (Sherri McCutcheon); and her great-niece Jessica Barrineau (Austin Long) of Kingstree.
