It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leverne Marion (Kingstree, South Carolina), who passed away on February 6, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Darnell Marion; his granddaughter Megan Gibson; and his nephews, JeShown Marion (Smoke) and Douglas Flagler. He is survived by: his parents, George Marion of Philadelphia, PA and Ethel Lee Marion; his children, Mariah Witherspoon (John) of Columbia, SC, Amonica Gibson (Dietrich) of Camden, SC and Andrew (Jemima) of Jacksonville, SC; his grandchildren, Andrew Jr., Alexander, Jeremiah Frazier and Journi Witherspoon; his siblings, Jessie Marion (Amy) of Columbia, SC, Clarence Marion (Tara) of Lawrenceville, GA, Leroy Brown (Andrea) of Greensboro, NC. and Nicola Parker (Tranis) of Georgetown, SC.; and his mother-in-law Betty Battle (Joe) of Kingstree, SC. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
