Leslie Purdis Gause Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2024, at the age of 68, Leslie Purdis Gause (Kingstree, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Leslie Purdis had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Leslie Purdis may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Purdis Gause and Linnie Mae Powell Gause; and his aunts and uncles, Donald Lee Gause, Claude Gause, Juanita Gause Griffin and Ilaphine Gause Feagin.

He is survived by: his aunt Maedine Gause; and his uncles, Barney Gause and Thomas Gause. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
