He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Mae Burgess; his daughter Virginia A McCray of Columbia, SC; his brother James Edward Burgess (Sandra) of Hillside, NJ; his siblings-in-law, Wes Frierson of Lake City, SC, Jannie Mae Graham of Lake City, SC, Zettie Mae Frierson of Lake City, SC, Gloria Edward (Allen) of Lake City, SC, Linda Chandler (Laverne) of Lake City, SC and Betty Faye Washington (Sylvester) of Lake City, SC; his grandchildren, Mya I McCray and Matthew R McCray of Columbia, SC; his uncle Vernal Fulton (Virginia) of Kingstree, SC; and his aunt Lillie Mae Fulton of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by nephew grand nephews grand nieces, cousins and other dear relatives and friends.
