She was predeceased by: her spouse Hartley Leland "Junior" Powell, Sr.; her parents, Ralph Decatur Knight and Louise Jordan Knight; her son Neil Powell; her daughter-in-law Sandy Powell; her great grandchild Katelyn Powell; and her siblings, Sam Knight, Donald Knight, Glenn Knight, Geneva Smith, Gertrude Thompson and Mattie Sue Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, June Holliday (Julian), H. Leland Powell, Jr. of Kingstree and Tommy W. Powell (Terry) of Kingstree; and her sisters, Ina Blake of Salters, SC and Anita Haynes of Anderson, SC..
