Baxley (Kingstree, South Carolina), born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on October 9, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Azalee Ray Baxley and George Baxley of Washington; his former wife Edna Harrelson Baxley; and his siblings, Raymond Baxley, George Baxley and Geneva Yarbrough.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Coker McGee Baxley; his siblings, D. D. Baxley (Frances) of Canton, NC, Carol Poston of Hemingway and Yvonne Loveless (Randy) of Lake City; his stepchildren, Rannie McGee of Kingstree, Polly Roberts (William) of Andrews, SC, Pansy Gause of Charleston and Debra Britton (Tom) of Hopkinsville, KY; and his stepgrandchildren, William Craig, Nikki Feathers and Kristen Gause.
