He is survived by: his spouse Willie Mae Mouzon Floyd; his daughters, Sally Avant (Joe) of Chesapeake, VA and Jessica Snipes (Jim) of Kingstree; his grandchildren, David Avant (Alejandra) of Port Hueneme, CA and Nicole Guthrie (Sam) of Virginia Beach, VA; his great grandchildren, Summer Rose Avant and Caleb Poston; and his siblings, Louise Evans of Sumter, Jack Floyd (Shirley) of Sumter and Elgin Floyd of Sumter.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mouzon Cemetery.
