It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Anne B. Sires (Kingstree, South Carolina), who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jasper Marion Sires, III; her parents, Charles Boyd and Matelon Bevis Boyd; her siblings, Brenda B. Pringle (Sammy) of Surfside Beach, SC, Charles Winston Boyd (Lillian), Louise B. Cox (Richard), Mamie Lee B. Mishoe (Frank), Frances B. Lovelace (Ben) and Bevis B. Shepard (Ector); and her sister-in-law Leila Sires Foust (Jim).
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth S. (Billy Horton), Sheryl S. (Mark Scott) and Michelle S. (Brice Benton); her grandchildren, Elissa H. Swicord (Tim), William B., Sarah S. Kelley (Bryan) of Greenville, SC, Gordon Scott (Annie Bauer) of Kingstree and Marion B. McClary (Juston) of Kingstree, SC; her great grandchildren, Jay Swicord, Chandler Swicord, Henry Swicord, Alec Hagwood, Austin Hagwood (Alyssa), Caitie Horton, Emma Kelley, Jack and Mae Scott; her great great grandchild Charlee Suzanne Hagwood; her daughters, Adrienne Foust Shinta (Bob) of Salters, SC and Carol Shepard Morgan (C. J.) of Scurry, TX; and her sister-in-law Jean S. Shirer (Carlisle) of Salters, SC.
