She was predeceased by: her husband William Aulton "Lefty" Edwins, Jr.; her parents, Edgar King LaCoste and Gertrude Bailey LaCoste; and her brother James Harvey LaCoste. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Edwins Davis of Irmo, SC and William Aulton "Chip" Edwins, III of Kingstree; her grandchildren, Rachel Jean Davis of Irmo and William Parker Davis of Irmo; and her great grandchild Thomas Aulton Davis of Irmo.
