It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Green (Kingstree, South Carolina), who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Green and Ethel Grice Green; and his sisters, Betty Singletary and Mary Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Melinda Ponton of Newport News, Viriginia, Michael Scott of Kingstree and Renee; his siblings, Celia M. Wallace of Kingstree, Millie Greene of Kingstree, Eddie Green of Kingstree, Shirley Easterling (Billy) of Florence and Deloris; his uncle Elder Johnny L. Shaw (Jene) of Palatka, Florida; his aunt Dorothy Marshall of Summerville; and his brother Johnny Green (Shirley).
