He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Green and Margaret Louise McKnight Green; and his siblings, James E. Green and Annie Louise Morris. He is survived by: his sisters, Blondell Gamble (John Henry) of New Haven, CT, Mary Alice Footman of New Haven, CT and Vitell Cooper of Kingstree, SC; his nieces, Tracey Brown (James) of Hemingway, SC and Tammie Cooper of West Haven, CT; his aunts, Sarah Woods (Chappelle) of Kingstree, SC, Ruby Harrison of Kingstree, SC and Bertha Woods of Kingstree, SC; and his sister-in-law Wilhelmina Green of Queens, NY. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
