We bid farewell to Gordon B. Jenkinson (Kingstree, South Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 6, 2025 at the age of 76. Gordon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father William Eldridge Jenkinson, Jr.; his daughter Margaret Gordon Jenkinson; his father Gordon Jenkinson; and his fathers-in-law, Lewis and Kent Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Kelley Jenkinson of Charleston; his daughters, Martha Kent Runey (Michael) and Mary Gordon High (Bubba); his grandchildren, Mary Banks High, Barry Glenn High, III, Anne Lewis High, Michael Lawrence Runey V, Joseph Kent Runey and Gordon Brockington Runey; his siblings, William E. Jenkinson, III (Salley), Haynsworth McCall "Mac" Jenkinson (Caroline), Margaret Jane "Moo" Kirk (Billy) and Edward; and his sister-in-law Kathy Kelley.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingstree United Methodist Church (510 N Longstreet St, Kingstree, SC 29556). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Williamsburg Cemetery.
