She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shaw-McClary and Jannie Shaw-McClary; her sons, James Edward Wilson and Kent Leonard Wilson; her grandchildren, Jonathan Demetrius Fleming and Tammy Wilson McKnight; her children-in-law, Mary Wilson-Williams, Emma Lee Wilson, Betty Wilson-Smalls and Sylvester Cunningham Sr. Those; and her children, Bettie Cunningham of Kingstree, SC, Audrey Fleming (Jonathan) of Kingstree, SC, Christabell Brown (Nemin) of Kingstree, SC, Willie Wilson (Leola) of Kingstree, SC, Luther Wilson (Percilla) of Florence, SC and Marion Theodore Wilson of Columbia, SC.
