It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Lee Wilson of Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Wilson; her parents, Clayton Lee Sr. and Pearl Black Lee; her siblings, Clayton Lee Jr., Willie Lee and Mary Lee Conyers; and her grandparents, Will, Mariah Black, Stephen and Candace Lee.
She is survived by: her children, Markiesa Smith of Kingstree, SC, Markaan Smith (Monique) of Atlanta, GA, Ernest Smith of Kingstree, SC and Danielle Edwards (Howard) of Kingstree, SC; and her siblings, Sadie McFadden of Lake City, SC, Gloria Cooper (James) of Columbia, SC and Stephen Lee of Kingstree, SC. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other dear relatives and friends.
