He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Virgil Nexsen, Sr. and Crawford McClary Nexsen; and his sisters, Virginia Nexsen Seeger and Mary Nexsen Rohe. He is survived by: his wife Ruth McGee Nexsen; his children, Steve E. Nexsen and Melanie L. Nexsen; his granddaughter Mary Beth (Neal Price); his great grandchild Kate Price; and his pet Dixie.
