He is survived by: his wife Gloria Byrdic Harville of Kingstree; his daughter Erin Schwasnick (Scott) of Greenville, SC; his grandsons, Jacob and David Schwasnick; and his sisters, Jane Everett (Kyle) of Plano, TX and Ann Burnett (Gene) of Wesley Chapel, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
