It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Floyd of Kingstree, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Valsor Floyd and Eliza Miles Floyd; and his siblings, Homer Floyd, Ola Mae Wilkes, Annie Ruth Fields, V. J. Floyd and Kathy Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Willower Lee Floyd of Kingstree; his children, Donna Teal (Pat) of Scranton, Cynthia Filyaw (Brady) of New Zion, Tasha Floyd of Kingstree, Bobby "B. J." Floyd, II (Andrea) of Kingstree and Crystal Epps (Jamal) of Kingstree; and his siblings, Runette Feagin (Jimmy) of Kingstree, Timmons Floyd (Mary Ann) of Florence, Dale Hayes (Marion) of Myrtle Beach, Joyce Sanderson (Leon) of Darlington and Wanda Stewart of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
