It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Belle Avant Small (Kingstree, South Carolina), born in Greeleyville, South Carolina, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Lee Small; her parents, Jerry Richard Avant and Tulie Jernigan Avant; and her siblings, Louise Jost (George) of California, Reuben Avant (Penny) of Sumter, Della Duke (McQueen) of Kingstree, Wallace Avant (Ruth) of Kingstree, Lizzie Timmons (Willie) of Kingstree and Virginia Avant.
She is survived by: her sons, Brice Small (Dora) of Kingstree and Robert Small (Joyce) of Lexington; her grandsons, Clay and Cliff Small of Kingstree; and her stepgrandchildren, Tommy Brown (Angie) of Kingstree, Chris Brown (Mandy) of Kingstree and Carla Smith (Robbie) of Turbeville.
