He is survived by: his former wife Soundra Cooper of Rochester, NY; his sons, Al Nesmith (Lisa) of Atlanta, GA, Greg Cooper (Dollbaby) of Newfield, NY and Anthony Trammell (Pamela) of Dover, DL; his siblings, Elijah Cooper, James Cooper (Betty) of Kingstree, SC, Lillie Mae Davis of Miami, FL and Mary Ruth Johnson of Rochester, NY; his half-brother Rev. Joseph Chandler (Fannin); his stepbrother Charles Edward McCullough (Esther) of Kingstree, SC; and his aunt Annie Mae Bradley of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
