He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Eunice Brehmer Johnson; his siblings, Sheriff Eugene Johnson, Earl Johnson, Ella Mae Werts and Blanche Boyd; and his nephews, Frank Johnson, Richard Johnson and Paul Boyd.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Sale; and his nieces and nephews, Peggy W. Barker, Gayle W. Duckett, Bobby Boyd and Kenneth Johnson.
