As Emma Elizabeth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Emma Elizabeth. Though Emma Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her spouse D. P. Shipes; her parents, Felton W. Crapps and Virgie Hunnicutt Crapps; and her sons, Buster Shipes and David Shipes.
She is survived by: her children, Sammy Shipes, Bradley Shipes, Angie McGee and Ann Cathcart. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; her six great-grandchildren and her three great-great-grandchildren.
