Robert Lide Glenn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2025, at the age of 87, Robert Lide Glenn of Kiawah Island, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Lide and Walter Lewis Glenn of Anderson; his wife Eileen Noel Sullivan; and his brother Rear Admiral W. Lewis Glenn, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Margaret of Richmond, Jeanne Kepper (Tom) of Charlotte and Mary Glenn Landrum of Richmond, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Evelyn Glenn, Stewart Kepper, William Kepper, James Kepper, Grace Kepper, Corinne Landrum and Julianne Landrum; his sister-in-law Julia Glenn (Lew); and his cousin Chris Pracht of Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Old Silver Brook Cemetery (1405 White St, Anderson, SC 29624).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lide and Eileen's memory to the Prion Alliance at https://www.cureffi.org, which supports research to combat FFI, a disease that has had a significant impact on our family.
