He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Horton and Frances Taylor Horton; his son Francis "Puddin" Horton; and his daughter-in-law Patty Horton. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Robinson Horton; his sons, Wilbur L. Horton, Jr. (Sherry) of Kershaw, Lonnie M. Horton of Kershaw and Jay Lynn Horton (Peggy) of Kershaw; and his sister Gay Nell Horton of McBee.
