He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Nelson Hunter and Shirley Coates Hunter; and his sister Sheryl Ann Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Phillips Hunter; his daughters, Shannon Walker (Timothy) and Amy Young (Lee); his grandson Trent Hunter; and his pet Grizzly.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (210 E Hilton St, Kershaw, SC 29067). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church (603 Oak Ridge Church Rd, Kershaw, SC 29067).
