She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Buddy" Byrd and Eva Knight Byrd; her husband John Allen Cawley, Sr.; her son-in-law Larry Wayne Arant; her grandson Cody Alan Broughton; and her siblings, Annie Sue Burnside, William Byrd, June Byrd, Joseph Byrd, Peggy Byrd and Judy Queen.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Broughton (Todd), Angie Arant, John Allen Cawley, II and Tracie Cawley Dowey; her grandchildren, Joshua Austin Broughton, Daniel Andrew O'Neal (Taylor Simmons), Brandon Anton O'Neal (Elizabeth), Emma Grace Cawley, Jeffrey Ray Dowey, Jr. (Nancy Smart) and Michael Channon Dowey; her great grandchildren, Mason, Regan, Braxton, Kaylee, Jase, Jaxton, Skyler, Pasley, Harper and Timmy Ray; and her siblings, Glendora Jones, Betty Jean Nyburg, Charles Byrd (Bridget) and Michael Byrd (Melinda).
