With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marlowe Jones of Kershaw, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Mae Bowers Faulkenberry and Edward N. Faulkenberry; her husband Lawrence Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Cathy Faulkenberry and Lanny Robinson.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Jones Calcutt; her son-in-law Randall Lee Calcutt, Jr.; her grandsons, Aiden Lawrence Jones Calcutt and Wyatt Randall Calcutt; her siblings, Douglas N. Faulkenberry, Nell F. Robinson and Vivian F. Chapman; and her nieces and nephews, Lauren Faulkenberry, Anna R. Rhyne (Glenn), Ellen Robinson, Emily Chapman, Will Robinson (Olivia) and Casey Chapman (Lauren Cook).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

“Marlowe had a beautiful spirit and smile. We went to KHS together. To know her was to love her. We rode the school bus together. Therefore, we knew each other well. I treasured those times together. She was a beautiful person inside and out! God has a precious angel with him in heaven My sympathies to her family for their loss. Praise God for giving them such a wonderful role model in Marlowe.
