He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Summers Cauthen and Olivia Ladell Truesdale Cauthen; his former wife Annie Sue Rollins Cauthen; and his brother Odell Cauthen. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Stover Cauthen; his son John W. Cauthen (Kim); his grandchildren, Stephanie Truesdale (Marc), Shawn Cauthen (Emily) and Shane Cauthen; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Denton, Connor Truesdale and Austin Cauthen; and his sister Sara Helms.
