He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann "Pat" Byrd Cawley; and his children, Patricia Broughton (Todd) of Kershaw, S. C., Angie Arant of Kershaw, S. C., Tracie Dowey of Lugoff, S. C., Cathy Ivey (Kenny) of Waycross and John A. Cawley, II of Kershaw, S. C.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
