James Phillips Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Phillips of Kershaw, South Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Phillips, Sr. and Sallie Joyner Phillips; his wife Clara Holden Phillips; and his siblings, Vera Catoe, Florence Whitaker, Robert Payne, Frank Phillips, Bob Phillips, Paul Phillips, Arthur Phillips and Everette Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Donna P. Holden (Donald), Jeffrey S. Phillips (Candice) and James Bryan Phillips; his grandchildren, Chelsea H. Gardner (Drew), Kaitlyn Holden, Mason Kirkley (Hannah) and Nicholas Kirkley; his great grandchildren, Karsyn Gardner and Holden Gardner; and his close friends, Pamela Harger and Carol Ann Faulkenberry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
