He is survived by: his wife Sadie Outen Phillips; his children, Vicki P. Hinson of Camden, S. C. and Joe Reed Phillips (Denise) of Kershaw, S. C.; his grandchildren, Chris Hinson, Monica Hinson, Andrew Phillips and Ryan Phillips; his great grandchildren, Ainsley Hinson, Alyssa Hinson, Hayden Phillips, Walker Phillips and Charlotte Phillips; and his siblings, Margie P. Whitley of Kershaw, S. C. and Olin Phillps of Kershaw, S. C..
